Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) Training
The standard Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) training is a 3 day course. It is possible to run a two day course if all of the participants have completed a Climbing Wall Instructor training course. We will cover lots of technical skills as well as group management and organisational topics, all in a friendly and relaxed manner. The aim is for you to feel happy to ask lots of questions and have a great time! I am running these courses on behalf of Bryn Williams Mountaineering who is the course provider.
What should I expect from an RCI training course?
The syllabus which is explained in the candidate handbook is covered in a practical way, with two days out on the crags and one day at a local climbing wall. These days will be flexible to make best use of the weather. Days will run from 9-5pm.
Dates:
13th-15th July
If you would prefer an alternative date, please get in touch and I will see what I can arrange.
