Winter Guided Mountain Walking

Let us guide you at your own pace through the spectacular scenery Snowdonia and the Scottish Highlands have to offer. We can show you the less discovered areas and alternative routes, as well as the more classic itineraries. Along the way our instructors are able to share a wealth of information with you on aspects such as avalanche awareness, ice axe arresting and wildlife in the winter. Walking in winter conditions can be quite daunting so let us take the stress away from you and guide you on a winter experience to remember!

Skills

On our guided walks we can be incredibly flexible in order to meet your needs. As we will be out in winter conditions the use of the ice axe and crampon technique will need to be covered. If you are new to winter mountaineering a popular option is to choose one day of skills practice combined with a mountain walk the following day putting it all into practice.

Fantastic weekend with Lou and Sam doing winter skills in Snowdonia. Really enthusiastic instructors and very happy to cater the weekend to what the group wanted to learn. Could not recommend more highly!
